As a husband and wife wedding videography team at Moreno Memories, we had the pleasure of capturing a day filled with genuine emotion, natural moments, and a real sense of joy shared between family and friends.
A Love Story That Began on a Night Shift
Nikki and Chris first met while working together on a night shift, and what started with a simple coffee soon grew into something much more.
Now with their two boys and a life built together, their wedding day was a celebration of everything they’ve created as a family.
A Perfect November Day at Grange Barn
For a November wedding, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The sun shone throughout the day, creating beautiful natural light that added something truly special to the atmosphere.
Grange Barn in Whitechurch provided the ideal setting, with its warm, rustic feel and soft light filling the space—perfect for a relaxed and intimate celebration with around 50 guests during the day and more joining in the evening.
A Special First Look Moment
One of the most memorable parts of the day was Nikki & Chris’ first look before the ceremony.
It was a quiet, emotional moment just for the two of them—something that allowed them to take everything in before the day truly began.
Being able to capture that moment naturally, without interruption, was incredibly special and set the tone for the rest of the day.
A Relaxed and Natural Approach to Filming
Our focus throughout the day was simple—keep everything relaxed and let Nikki & Chris enjoy every moment.
We avoided heavy direction and instead captured the day as it unfolded naturally. This allowed them to feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and meant the film reflects their personalities in a genuine way.
Working together as a husband and wife team, we were able to split our time and cover different parts of the day, ensuring nothing was missed while still blending seamlessly into the background.
Capturing Light, Emotion, and Atmosphere
One of the standout moments for us was filming inside the barn as sunlight streamed through, creating beautiful natural light around Nikki and Chris.
These moments added a cinematic, emotional feel to the film and really brought the atmosphere of the day to life.
From the ceremony to the confetti, the joy of the day was clear to see in every moment we captured.
